Student registration and progress tracking

The screen shot shown below is an illustration of the scope available on this system. The inset table (subform) is selected by clicking on the 'Recent Logons' button and covers an area of the main form which previously showed address and ethnicity details. Other subforms show the courses students have enrolled on, both currently and historically. The form thus serves to provide a means to enter and edit contact details, enrolment details (from a picklist) and shows student attendance. The database is linked to a VIsual Studio.net program which compels students to provide a username and password in order to use a computer and which helps ensure that their paperwork is completed.by blocking their logons unless authorised by a tutor.

While this system has not been envisaged as a saleable product. it illustrates the data collection capabilities of a tailor made Access system.
